The Future Reef research group, based at the Centre for Marine Studies at the University of Queensland, is a world-leading coral reef science group led by Professor Ove Hoegh-Guldberg. It includes a diverse group of scientists including coral ecologists, physiologists, molecular biologists, and taxonomists. The research centres around the impacts of ocean acidification and warming on the Great Barrier Reef. Key scientific personnel on the project are senior research fellow, Dr Ken Anthony, and postdoctoral fellows, Drs David Kline and Guillermo Diaz-Pulido. The research group has a number of students and external collaborators.
